Social media commentator Verydarkman (VDM) has come forward with new revelations about the ongoing drama involving Naira Marley and the late Mohbad. During a recent TikTok livestream, VDM shared some shocking details that suggest Naira Marley is less than forthcoming about the allegations surrounding his former signee.

According to Verydarkman, Naira Marley himself admitted to owing Mohbad a significant amount of money before his untimely passing. VDM explained, “What’s crazy is that the guy has his own evidence, and I asked Naira Marley, ‘Why are you not coming to the public? Sit down, show them your evidence, and the business side of things.’ He clearly owed Mohbad some money, and he told me how much he owed him – it wasn’t small. That was the root of their problem.”

But it doesn’t stop there. Verydarkman also gave us a peek into the crumbling relationship between the two. He claimed that things went south when Mohbad wanted to switch managers. VDM explained, “He signed Mohbad, but Mohbad started taking gigs without paying the label. The whole issue started when Mohbad wanted to change his manager.”

Despite these claims, Naira Marley has yet to address the public about these allegations, something that VDM finds perplexing. He even offered his own platform to help Marley clear the air. “I’ve told him to come out, explain to Nigerians, and show them your evidence,” VDM said. “He told me it’s God who will fight his battle. If you’re innocent, you shouldn’t be scared.”

But here’s where it gets even juicier—Verydarkman pointed out that Naira Marley doesn’t seem to have the confidence to face the public with the truth. “He’s not even confident,” VDM added. “This guy smokes weed to get the courage to do anything. So if he ever agrees to come out, he’s going to need a lot of it.”
