IPOB Clears the Air: We’ve Got No Hand in Orsu, Imo & Anambra Attacks!

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has spoken loud and clear, we’ve got absolutely nothing to do with the recent violence and attacks in Orsu, Imo State, or Anambra State. Any gist you’ve been hearing linking IPOB or our Eastern Security Network (ESN) to those ugly incidents? It’s pure fake news.

In a fresh statement from our Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, IPOB made it crystal clear: We don’t roll with criminals! Since way back in 2021, we’ve been distancing ourselves from people hiding under our name to do evil. After the unfortunate arrest and forced return of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, some bad eggs started pretending to be ESN operatives. But guess what? They’re not us. They’re just using IPOB’s name to cause confusion and destroy our good image.

And honestly, we’ve been shouting this from the rooftops on Radio Biafra, on social media, everywhere! We keep warning our people: Don’t fall for these fake guys. They’re not part of IPOB or ESN. They’re criminals with their own selfish agenda, trying to drag our movement through the mud.

Let’s be real, IPOB and ESN are all about protecting our people. We don’t terrorize or attack our own communities. Our security wing, ESN, was created to shield our land from external threats, not to hurt the people we stand for. Anyone saying otherwise is either misinformed or deliberately spreading lies to make us look bad.

Moreover, we’re urging everyone from community leaders to the average person on the street not to help spread false stories. That’s exactly what the enemies of Biafra want: confusion, fear, and misinformation. Instead, let’s work together to expose the real criminals and hold security agencies accountable for keeping our communities safe.

In case it wasn’t clear enough, here’s the vibe: IPOB is committed to peace, protection, and the legitimate struggle for Biafra’s freedom. We will never, ever be part of violence against our people. So, don’t let anyone fool you. Stay woke, stay alert, and don’t believe the hype.
