Faleke Praised for Advancing Tinubu’s Tax Reforms in National Assembly
The Tinubu Reforms Advocates (TRA) has showered praise on Rt. Hon. James Faleke, the representative for Ikeja Federal Constituency, for his unwavering support of President Bola Tinubu’s tax reform bills.
In a statement released by TRA President Gideon Unazi, Faleke was hailed as a “pillar of development” for his crucial role in pushing for legislative backing of the reforms. According to Unazi, Faleke’s leadership has been instrumental in moving the bills forward.
“Faleke has shown himself to be a dependable ally of President Tinubu by using his position to champion the tax reform agenda,” Unazi noted.
These bills, designed to transform Nigeria’s tax system, have sparked lively debates across the nation. Advocates believe the reforms could strengthen the country’s economic foundation. As Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, Faleke has taken a front-row seat in leading the charge for these reforms.
Unazi praised Faleke’s hands-on approach, highlighting how he took the time to brief committee members on the details of the bills to encourage informed discussions. Beyond this, Faleke traveled across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, addressing concerns raised by lawmakers and rallying widespread support for the reforms.
“As one of President Tinubu’s most trusted allies, Faleke has consistently used his influence in the National Assembly to promote the President’s vision for Nigeria,” Unazi added.
TRA also credited Faleke’s relentless efforts for the growing legislative support for the tax bills. The group called on other lawmakers to follow Faleke’s example by backing President Tinubu’s push for a modern, competitive, and efficient Nigeria.
In closing, TRA reaffirmed its confidence in Faleke, praising his dedication to the President’s economic transformation goals. His commitment, they said, reflects his alignment with Tinubu’s vision for a stronger Nigeria.
