2015 Kenya and Nigeria signed game-changing agreements covering tourism, agriculture, and trade. These deals opened doors for Kenyan tea and horticultural products to be exported while Nigeria provided petroleum and cement. Now, it’s time to take these trade relations even further.

While the partnership has been growing, trade volume is still low. And that’s a problem! El-Rasheed pointed out that the real challenge is removing trade barriers and making it easier for businesses to thrive between countries.
